A 400-space parking structure for a university's downtown micro-campus

Tharpe Engineering Group provided structural design, construction documentation, and construction administration services for a 400-space parking garage. The parking garage is constructed of precast concrete walls and double tees, with a deep foundation consisting of 18" diameter augured cast-in-place concrete piles.

The auxiliary space on the ground level includes a student fitness center and juice bar, with all interior spaces protected by dry-flood proof construction. The design and construction documentation of this project were delivered using a design-build process with the owner's general contractor and the architect of record.
